Hackney Council have revealed their Markets strategy for 2023-2028
Hoxton and Shoreditch Ward already contains 3 council operated markets
- Hoxton Street market – Mon-Fri
- Leonard Circus – Mon-Fri
- Clifton St – Mon-Fri
Along with 2 privately operated late-night Street food markets.
- La la Land
- Urban Street Fest
This proposal would put a further market into Historic Hoxton Square less than 50 yards from an established market in Hoxton Street.
It should be noted that the consultation places a large emphasis on creating NIGHT MARKETS
The consultation period closes on 23rd July
