Planning submission
It is now anticipated that a planning application for The Goodsyard will be submitted to the London Boroughs of Hackney and Tower Hamlets in Spring 2014, further details will follow as they are known. Consultation and engagement will continue up to and beyond the planning submission, please see below for an overview of activities.

Reporting
We will shortly be issuing the latest consultation report, detailing the consultation ad feedback up to and including the Draft Masterplan. Further to this we will provide a mini-report on the outcomes from the park and landscaping Focus Session held in December 2013. Alongside the planning submission, Soundings will produce a Statement of Community Involvement, a publicly available report providing a record of all consultation, feedback and design responses.

Focus Sessions
Focus Sessions are a continuation of the Community Liaison Group to look in depth at key community issues that have not yet been able to be fully discussed at the wider masterplan events. They are attended by local representatives and individuals with a particular interest in specific topic areas. During December 2013 we held the first in a series of Focus Sessions, looking at the park and landscaping, immediately after the appointment of the Landscape Architects. Upcoming focus sessions aim to be held at the most appropriate time in the planning process, where they can be impacted and there is enough information to enable an informed discussion. Sessions will continue to discuss a number of key topics and details on potential dates will follow in due course.

The Park
The landscape team is a collaborative of local practices led by Spacehub and including Kinnear Landscape Architects, Chris Dyson Architects and Studio Weave. Soundings and Spacehub hosted a very productive Focus Session on the park in December with members of the Community Liaison Group and other members of the consultation process. The feedback from this event was very informative and Spacehub have now taken this away and are developing their proposals.

At the Masterplan Update session there will be details of this ongoing design evolution and also potential options for long-term local involvement in the park.

Soundings would also like to clarify that there has been some confusion regarding the appointed landscape team as a separate park interest group has been recently set-up. For clarity, this is separate to the delivery team and consultation programme. However, Soundings encourage input from all interest groups and individuals and through this process feedback will go directly to the Joint Venture and design team.

Ongoing outreach
We are continuing to hold specific outreach sessions to ensure that a representative cross-section of communities surrounding the site have opportunity to be involved throughout the process.

Final Exhibition and Statutory Consultation
We also anticipate a public exhibition of the Final Masterplan alongside the Statutory Consultation period, where the planning documents will be provided, and the team is on hand to provide any clarifications.
