Dear All,
As you may already be aware, Ideas Week is coming up soon. If you’ve already signed up, that’s great. If not please find further information below and please get in touch to reserve your place.
Ideas Week is a week long series of exhibitions, workshops and focus sessions at which we hope to establish a shared set of visions for the scheme, this will expand on the parameters set out in the Interim Planning Guidance (IPG). You can access information on the consultation and community engagement process, and on the IPG through the ‘Useful Info’ section of the website. Please go to http://www.thegoodsyardlondon.co.uk <http://thegoodsyardlondon.co.uk>
Please also find attached a diagram explaining the structure of Ideas Week.
We will be staging a number of Focus Sessions and Public Workshops during Ideas Week. Focus sessions look at specific themes as outlined below, they are by invitation and offer the opportunity for local groups, TRA’s, businesses and council officers to discuss elements of the project in a structured and well informed manner.Public workshops are open to all and invite those with an interest to review, challenge and extend the initial outcomes of the focus sessions based on the key themes.
We would really value your particular knowledge and views at the Focus Session events and we hope, as a representative or ‘local expert’ that you might be free and willing to join one, two or all three of our Focus Group sessions on Monday 17th June, running between 4.30-8.30pm and one of the two Public Workshops that will be held between 6.30 and 8.30pm on Tuesday and Thursday, 18 and 20th June. We are also anticipating that some invitees will not be able to attend the Focus Session on the Monday. In this case please book the Wednesday sessions if you’re available.
Focus session structure – Monday 17th June 4.30pm – 8.30pm (if unavailable Monday a second session will be run on Wednesday 19th June):
